Pierre-Allain is a high altitude mountain guide who will introduce you to:
The Via Ferrata: roped up, we will follow the route, stopping in some appropriate spots to get the full benefit of the thrilling sensations. After going up ladders, over aerial crossings and a footbridge, we reach the point where our descent begins, part of which is also by a Via Ferrata, known as ” la vire du raffour”, the only one of its kind in the Haute-Savoie.
Just a small group, which is more effective, enabling everyone to enjoy the thrills; photographs taken during the expedition can be copied to your own USB data key.
Rafting: rather wild in spring, by summer the Giffre is a wonderful river that the whole family can enjoy. We will make sure that you get the very best out of this superb mountain torrent with its many rapids – a truly invigorating expedition, offering surfs, jumps and other figures.
Hiking: the millstone discovery trail: you can explore this place with its extraordinary location and plant life. Hike along a shady forest track, over ridges offering wonderful views of the Genevois, before coming to the ‘meulières‘, millstone quarries, steeped in history, with the ‘Fairy cave’, ‘Dead man’s stone marsh’, …
Accommodation and meal :
Every evening it’s back to the peaceful delights and soft comforts of “La Persévérance”, a chalet guesthouse. Here your hostess, Christine, will serve you with delicious meals, based on local produce and garden vegetables, as well as homemade organic bread using different types of flour and seeds.
In the garden, around the barbecue, immerse yourself in the friendly atmosphere and interesting conversations that are an integral feature of La Persévérance.

INFORMATIONS AND BOOKING
Specific equipment that each person must provide: backpack with 1 litre of water, hiking boots and gloves if possible.
